IETF 123, Madrid, Spain
Dates: July 19 – 25, 2025
Location: Madrid, Spain
The OpenSSL Corporation is participating in IETF 123 in Madrid this July. This event brings together the IETF Hackathon and IETF Code Sprint, providing a collaborative space for developers, subject matter experts, and volunteers to contribute to the advancement of IETF standards and tools.
IETF Hackathon
The IETF Hackathon is an opportunity for developers and industry experts to collaborate, innovate, and create. Participants work together to develop utilities, sample code, and solutions that demonstrate real-world implementations of IETF standards.
IETF Code Sprint
Organised by the IETF Tools Team, the IETF Code Sprint brings together volunteers from the IETF community to enhance and expand critical tools such as the IETF Datatracker, mailing lists, and other infrastructure. Some contributors focus on improving existing features, while others develop entirely new functionality, all of which become part of the open-source ecosystem supporting IETF specifications.
IETF Code Sprints are held alongside each in-person IETF meeting and also take place online between events.
